The Problem and the Solution

The Problem

Over 3 Billion gamers worldwide but why is it that only 0.01 percent of those gamers are making money in the gaming industry. Unless you were a superstar Esports player or a content creator with the time, money and consistency the chances of you making real money in this industry are slim. The journey to becoming a professional Esports player is a tough and challenging path. Even if you are able to put time and effort into getting good, form a decent team to go to tournaments there's a question of funding. Apart from the actual players the backbone of any good Esports team are strong managers, investors and big sponsors. Which sounds easy enough , but sadly life is not that easy, professional Esports players also face hardships. Once bound by contract they are often overworked and forced to practice for long hours resulting in mental and physical fatigue. Not to mention numerous scandals of Esports players being cheated on their tournament winnings, salaries and profit percentages by their own managers.

1. Scarce opportunity

Even in the 21st century gaming as a career is widely frowned upon because of the slim chances of one actually making it, but that doesn't mean we can't try. Players who want to make a career or turn pro in the Esports industry lack the support they need. Basic gaming knowledge, advanced techniques and opportunities are not often available to average gamers.

2. Tournament System Problem

Tournament systems in the Esports industry are a flawed and archaic system from technical failures, logistical issues and time consuming. Tournament system payouts can easily be manipulated and Esports players are often cheated by their own managers in the end. There is no good way to manage a good tournament, because the traditional system does not work.

3. Gaming Education Support

The world has seen a massive growth in the Esports community. Esports is quickly becoming recognized as an official sport by many countries. The truth is games based learning approach is lacking and not widely accessible for many. Career guidance in pursuing a career in Esports is also not widely available for interested gamers depriving the community of another Esports star.

4. Misconduct in Esports Industry

Even experienced players are susceptible to being cheated and abused by their own managers. Numerous accounts of Esports players have reported being cheated on their salaries, winnings and benefits. Players have often been called out contract violations, but sadly no real change ever happens. With the lack of real support these teams often end up disbanding and quitting the industry.
